Dog Training results training checklist includes: quality training with attention to detail (low volume of dogs through company), personal touch / concierge service (you can always reach Sit Up N Listen by phone, email, text, etc.), communicates well with people as well as pet (please see credentials below), visually happy dog (tails wagging on a focused dog), trainer able to transfer knowledge to pet owner, pet works around distractions, and dog trainer's dog(s) present a picture of pet owner's goals and beyond (advance training level).
Recall (come) is the most requested command from pet owners and I also value this command highly. Boundary training (place command) is a great command that is very useful within different environments. In this video, dogs are on "place". With four dogs this allows me to rotate them as individuals or as a group during the training session in a high distraction environment. Similar to most people's lives, I'm very busy but taking a few minutes when I'm travelling around the Atlanta area gives me an opportunity to run through the most requested commands (i.e. come, sit, wait, place, and heel). Not only does this time spent enhance my business presentation to new customers; but also enhances my dog's lives.
Carmel, my Portuguese Water Dog, along with X-press (boxer/greyhound mix), Tony, and Vinnie (Papillons) training is maintained daily even if it's just 10 minutes a day. I don't set aside a certain time to train I utilize the concept "train as you live". This is the easiest way to train, throughout the day, as you go about your normal activities of daily living.
